MISSION

 

Yadkin Grove’s mission is to win people to Christ (evangelism) and develop them to spiritual maturity (discipleship), to cultivate relationships with one another (fellowship), and to allow them to visibly express God’s love to others (service) in order to magnify God’s name (worship):

 

Evangelism - we will communicate God’s Word - sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible in our community and throughout the world. (Matthew 28: 18-20, Acts: 1:8, 2Peter 3:9)

 

Discipleship - We will educate God’s people - helping members develop toward full Christian maturity and training them for effective ministry as we promote personal and spiritual growth through Bible teaching (Ephesians 4: 11-13, Matthew 18: 20, II Timothy 2:2)

 

Fellowship - We will assimilate God’s family - encouraging, supporting and praying for each other as members of the family of God, as we share our lives together ( I John 1-7, Acts 2: 44-47, Hebrews 10:23 - 25, Romans 15: 5, 7 John 13-34-35)

 

Service - We will demonstrate God’s love - serving unselfishly, meeting physical, emotional and spiritual needs of those in our Church, community and in the world.  (I Peter 4:10-11), Matthew 25:34-40, I Thessalonians  5:11, Galatians 5:13)

 

Worship - We will celebrate God’s presence - participating regularly in public worship services together and maintaining personal daily devotions. (John 4:4)
